SHARPBOARD← Scores

Lean record

Results are added automatically as games finish.

Before tip-off, Sharp Board saves its stat-based lean for each game: who it favors, and how that compares with the spread and total. When the game ends, the lean is graded against the final score. Nothing is changed after tip-off.

Leans are only saved for games where both teams have played at least 4 games, because early-season averages are too noisy. That means the record starts small and fills in over the next few weeks.

Sharp-money signals

When a game's betting splits show one side getting fewer of the bets but more of the money (a 20+ point gap), Sharp Board logs it before tip-off and grades it on the final score. Splits come from the site owner's entries, so coverage is partial.

Read this with care. A short record says little. Spread picks need to win about 52.4% of the time to break even at standard -110 pricing, and a model built on season averages is not expected to beat the market.
