Sharp Board ("we", "us") is a free scoreboard website. This page explains what information is collected when you use it. In short: there are no accounts, we do not sell personal information, and we collect very little.
What we collect
- Basic visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It reports things like pages viewed, the site you came from, your country, and your browser and device type. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other sites.
- Server logs. Our website is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Email you send us. If you write to us, we keep your message and address so we can reply.
We do not ask you to create an account or give us your name.
What stays on your device
The site saves your filter choices (such as conference or "Top 25") in your browser's local storage under the name sb_prefs so they are there next time. This stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can clear it in your browser settings.
Third parties
- Cloudflare hosts the site and provides the analytics described above.
- ESPN's image servers deliver team logos, so your browser contacts them when logos load. They may see your IP address and browser details as part of that.
- If you click a link to another site, such as a sportsbook or a gambling-help service, that site's own policies apply.
Ads and affiliate links
There are no ads or affiliate links today. If we add them, those partners may use cookies or similar tools, and we will update this page and say so before they go live.
Children
Sharp Board is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Betting information on the site is intended for adults 21 and over.
Your choices
You can block or clear browser storage at any time, and the site works without it. To ask about information we hold, such as an email you sent us, or to have it deleted, write to hello@sharpboardscores.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
